The first hood isn't too bad. As for the trunk, looks like its got some fitment issues as the left taillight doesnt look like it fits properly, just doesnt look like quality to me.

I dont think it's VIS' fault, although one can't be sure.
Once the CF trunk is installed, the installer has to climb inside the trunk and adjust the fitting from the inside with a second person outside helping out. That tail light fitment problem looks like whoever installed it did not take the time to adjust the bolt in the supporting arm.

I agree, it may be the installers problem. I guess if a cf trunk was installed and slightly off on an 04 to 07 STi or evo 8 or 9 we wouldn't really notice it because of the one piece taillights, so lining it up perfectly wouldnt matter. Now that the new lancer, sti and evo have two peice taillights we can see the little fitment issue.
I have never seen a perfect fitting carbon fiber hood and trunk. The Vis carbonfiber hood and trunk that was on my ralliart had some gaps. I just got some door sealent to cover up the gaps. After that you could barly notice the gaps.
I would like to see some one make an oem evo X style carbon fiber hood.
