But seriously...if your gonna buy a rally car and mod it and not ever slide her around when its wet your just a poser...your car isnt some glamour show car and no your car wont break after a donut.. Im living proof

 

I'd like to but there is no SAFE, SECURE and private area I know of...and doing it in some public parking lot at night is not smart....tell me where i can do it....

 

i dont even like donuts cuz it did kill my clutch the last time I was out but it was more from the launch I did earlier that really burnt her out.

I just like to get off the highway and come to the stop and rev it up and let her go sideways takin a left turn with no cars around..never gets old

I came off of a turn like 2 months ago in 3rd gear, WOT HARD to the right getting onto a parkway and pulled off the best power slide ever!!! I felt so cool afterwards. I can control it pretty well once i'm in the slide, its just initializing the slide the way I want it is sometimes trick with the AWD.

When I had my 06 g35 coupe, I used to do 2nd gear drifts at about 40 mph in that car in the rain like i was a pro. I would just get going in 1st, be rolling at about 5k steady and then full throttle shift into 2nd gear while turning the wheel which ever way i wanted to go and I could slide around turns forever. I could even flip it back the other for a turn in the other direction. I did it while on my phone once and that was just a mistake, i just barely caught the curb and had to replace a 20" rim.

that's russ swift. professional stunt/test driver. he does a lot of those shows for subaru. he also holds the world record for doing 10 donuts the fastest. he did it in an EVO, then broke his first record in an STi. look him up and be amazed

 

probably just waxed too. The first is probably the test drive of some poor souls new X just before he took delivery.
