Ill start by posting T1R/Hybrid R's evo X with the Voltex spoiler

 

^^That is not a spoiler, that is a wing. A spoiler does not allow any air underneath it.

 

Yea, sorry for the mistake. After some searching there seems to be a lack of people touching their spoilers/wings.

 

Voltex would be my #1 choice for Time Attacks/ RR

That seems like a pretty arbitrary line. By that definition, nearly every spoiler is a wing.

The more traditional differentiation is that wings are designed to increase downforce, while spoilers may reduce turbulent airflow but are often simply for decoration. I can't recall any time I've heard of air flowing under them used as the differentiator.

Still, you're correct in that it's obviously a wing.
