/In some serious racer teams /who got money/ using not air and not only nitrogen for the tire pressure. They using nitrogen and some other gas for more stable pressure and to be more heat resistant. So its a mix.
With two inlet, you can mix the gas away you want it. Different tempeture or pressure needs different % of the mix.
I think this is most likely the case for the two inlet, then to have a separate gauge inlet...
