i have a strong suspicion that these are not actually MITSUBISHI leather covers.. but rather a dealer's "twist of words" on aftermarket leather...
The price matches what aftermarket companies would normally charge for aftermarket leather...

.......just playing around. If I had know that those were available...... I would have purchased them myself. Funny........ how did you know mine were black and red???? 
I had them black with red inserts on the seat and back. The door panels were red also. The shift boot red with black piping. I am going to post pictures as soon as I get the digital camera back! BTW...... I had an after-market company do the work. They did a great job....... but for $2300.

They talked to me about those seats when I ordered these...but I did not know they were $2300. I have seen them in a couple of cars and they look pretty nice. I just wanted to be a little more conservative.

For those wanting parts numbers, contact Moe at Sam Swope Mitsubishi (google it). He is the one that did all the leg work in getting these together for me.
Wow, they really enhance the look of the car. I will keep these in mind when I pick up my Evo X. So these came with seat heaters? Or where they another part number? $1300 for all that is a good price from your dealer.
very interesting! thanks for pointing out the mitsu logo. I wonder why I have never heard of these... did they invoice you for the leather? If so, the part numbers should be listed on that....
