for those people who went single why did you go single instead of dual what is it the price or you just dont believe that evos should dual exhaust? im still considering goin single but the only thing that is holding me back is cops and i dont know if i want a more refine look. on the old evos without the jdm bumper you could hide the cannister from the cops but the can is exposed on this one. great looking cars fellas

Mainly saving weight, and I just think it's odd for a 4-cylinder to have dual exhaust

I was stuck with the dual/single look on the Evo X too. I guess it grew on me and I'm leaning more towards the single exhaust now because it always ends up sounding better than dual to me. At first I was worried about the extra hole left for going single, but it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would in person especially when lowered. I don't want to look like those cars with aftermarket body kits that has a rear bumper with dual outlets but only running a single exhaust. The way the rear diffuser is on the Evo X it sort of blends it in and is not as noticeable. I'm also not a fan of dual canisters, but never saw it in person so who knows. For me I think the sound and probably weight of going single exhaust is one of the stronger points. I'm confident someone will make a single exhaust rear bumper/diffuser in the future though. The price difference of dual/single exhausts were never a factor for me. It is whichever performs/sounds/looks the best.

weight saving and much more straighter design, the reason why i picked mine.
Then turned out to be a best sounding exhaust and the lightest i ever owned.

i really confused about whether to go single or not i dont need and cant afford any tickets right now and i was recently followed home by the cops and i know they were searching to pull me over for sumthin having single exhaust would just give them an excuse. I just wanna cruise and not worry about the cops giving me a ticket every five mins for my exhaust. ontop of that i dont want people stuffing ish down my exhaust either cause i notice i have a few haters in the area where i live. so this is why im kinda leaning toward the duals.

We just have to get use to the single exhaust on the evo x. The opening in the diffuser for the other exhaust if cut so we always look for another one. What about single exhaust diffusers.

i wanna go to the track, embarrass everyone in my car club but i also don't want to be harassed by the cops plus the tips are alot smaller on the duals in the singles you could fit a freaking apple in there or sumthin lol

yeah we know about the cops.

the exhaust alone is not going to make the cops pull you over its a way the car looks as a whole.

get what you think looks good not what the cops like or the little bastards down the street like.

yea the rear diffuser single outlet i made the first thread and one the guys posted that they he called one of the companies and they said there wasnt enough demand for it. than a couple months later people started making threads about the rear diffuser and making pictures of what it would look like now i dont know whats going on. maybe this thread combined with all the other threads might get the companies to do it once they see all the single exhausts out there they may change their mind. but if people dont post or say sumthin nothing will get done

HKS with the Midpipe section + resonated test pipe.
You will gain a very good amount of power and you will be kinda "stock looking " And fairly quiet. Mean time you will have a JDM bling too.
Then you get one of those K&N or HKS drop in filter + tune and you will be all set .
bealive me when i tell you it is more then enough to put smile on you face . {thumbup**
