seriously ARC gear all hand made, and damn they do some fine work.

currently running a HKS unit,
you might of converted me

I think he is trying to say that Ti is a better insulator of heat. I don't know if his claim is accurate, but I would assume he is implying that you would want to do the opposite of heat insulation here.

However, I think insulation would actually be a benefit in that it would reduce the heat passed from the UICP to the engine bay. In addition to this, it's the job of the intercooler to reduce the heat of the compressed air.
