maybe better pictures of your X w/the gold wheels would help, 'cuz as of now the silver is standing out more to me.

 

Maybe its because the pic with the silver wheels is clearer than the pics with the gold, but the silver wheels look much better. In general I'm not a big fan of silver wheels though.

 

IMO the silver looked much better, but I only like gold wheels on black cars and sometimes white... but to each his own, it's your car after all so as long as you like it that's all that really matter's.
BTW: Either way these are the best looking wheel's for the X IMO (that's why I bought them haha), maybe you should try out a set of the dark grey TM02's or even the matte black ones when you get tired of the gold...

 

Silver looks better i think. I am not a fan of this rims.
