Congrats. That is by far the best color. Good idea with the tape.

were the people at dealership looking at you funny when you pulled out the tape and started taping?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah I will definitely be showing up to the meets.

Yeah...a lot of people were looking weird at me because of the tape I assume, but a lot of young kids were staring too; most likely because of the car haha.

Man, you are ****! I'd hate to see how you would react on your first parking lot dent. Why did you buy a car just to store it for the winter? Isn't better to just wait until spring to buy the car?

I definitely am **** about it. I will have no parking lot dents. I have a double-wide space at work, and park far away anywhere I go, and usually in between friends cars.

0% financing and a low price is why.

would you mind saying what dealership you got it at and what kind of deal? Im living in Florida but thinking I might have to travel to find a WW SSS w/ navi for a decent price.

Looks clean, like a brand new ride should (and with your dedication it's sure to stay that way).

Congratulations!

Congrat's on your new X; the X "family" has been waiting for your arrival!
That said, and please do not take this negatively but, I want to pass on some information about the 3M "shield". I had it installed on my wife's Audi TT.
It looked great initially, almost invisible, but after some miles with sand and small stones and other road debris, it stated to get pitted and then you could see the 3M cover everywhere not only from the pitting but also a yellowing of the sheets. To me it got so bad I decided to take it off and live with ~$150 to repaint affected panels. I have not considered putting same on my X; I will just live with it and then repaint. I think the ~$750 for the 3M is a little steep when you can paint 5 panels for the same money. Just my 2 cents for your consideration.
