Actually we fit some 17x10 +25 over the the stock brakes on my brother's X although 18's would look better. I'll post up some pictures if you want.

can you post up some pictures? I didn't know 17s can fit behind those huge 13.8 brembo rotors/calipers

i'm interested in knowing if 17s will fit as well...I thought it wasn't possible with evo x...but if you say you actually did, then I might just go that route...17s are lighter, cheaper tires, just better overall...looks wise it won't be as nice as 18s...but i could careless about looks

It's kinda hard to believe seeing how close the 18s are too close the calipers.

its all down to design some can fit and i'm looking forward to get the list.

The reason behind fitting 17" is that they are cheaper lighter and tires for them are cheaper too. People who go on trackdays should be intrested.

You go for performance but never go to a track to utilize it? What?

And it is possible (though admittedly unlikely) that only a certain offset of RPF1's in 17" size would fit simply because the ribs in the outer rim part lines up with the calipers and it just magically works. I also was under the impression most 17s will not fit. But if they do there are certainly a lot of price advantages to a 17!

Btw, RPF1s get a bum rap for looking small and being ugly, I have 18s powdered gloss black and they look fantastic and I have gotten a lot of compliments on the rims.

Good luck!

I know, its weird...but I never got into the whole track scene...the closest track is about 120 miles from where I am at...and I think it costs like $200 or so for a 1 or 2 day session....something like that...

I'm pretty satisfied with running the canyons and twisty roads

I mean 18 inch rims/tires start to get pricey...especially for replacement tires when I burn through them using mitsubishi's awd....so 17s would benefit me definitely

OP please post pics of the 17's?

Also, I had 19x10 rpf1 with sbc finish on my infinity g35 coupe, never had anyone mention they were ugly.
