I think it looks very good. BTW the drivers HID is not supposed to be level with the passenger HID to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. I thought folks knew this??? My M3 had halos and they didn't belong but looked great. Nice Job

lol these ppl responding about the leveling are cracking me up . RELAX ppl his car is hibernating tiill spring when its warmer to do some work, he only wanted to do a test check for looks and was so happy to get them he told me he installed them in the middle of the early morning lol...the leveling can easily be taken care of by turning one of the adjustment screws. If you look carefully the leveling is out only by just a little bit ... lol man you ppl crack me up haha.

anywho I'm glad iceman5 was happy with the retrofit based on his design. I work hard on all my retros and I treat them like my own. I intially didnt like he ccfl's i put in for him but they grew on me and I think they suit this partiular setup very nice. The only thing I have mentioned to iceman5 is the lower led strips are kinda excess but to each there own!

One thing I want to mention if you are paying attention, you will notice his shroud has a "X" formation only unique to his headlamps.

lol I did them. for iceman5 I did them practically for free because I'm such a nice guy. but for anyone else who is intrested or if it is even feesible from where your located I could help of course with reimbursment lol. I live in Ontario,Canada send me a pm if your interested, maybe I can help you out . I will do my best to do it better than the competitors. i know the retrofitters out there charge alot so I try to save anybody anything they can b/c if your happy I'm happy.

peace

^ good work. nice to see that ur doing it for free too. its just too much work for me to do it for free, to b honest. but its ncie to see that mroe people will be lucky to have projectors for mad cheap. clean...i like it. i do agree with the led's though iceman, not complementing those halos at all. upto u though. cant wait to see them at our first summer meet of the year! good stuff guys.

+1 it is alot of work

I know I'm not getting how much I should be getting and if I were to charge litterally how much its worth to produce, for those like myself who were first in their shoes they wouldn't be able to get it done. My girlfriend gets mad at me when I do it for next to nothing so I will ask for reimbursment from now on but I will always try to do it for less than what the competitors are doing it for so I can help them get thier retros done.

If you examine cost of materials and those who need it done I feel for them, hence why I will continue to do it for fun/hobby and charge a more than reasonable price for it to happen.

Great setup for the projectors... but no auto-levellers = illegal & bad news for oncoming traffic...

LOL as long as they are adjusted right they wouldn't harm oncommimg traffic hid projectors have cut off lines for that purpose. 99% of the cars out there that come from factory with hid projectors do not have autoleveling features. Autoleveling has nothing to do with projectors being legal or illegal they are used for height adjustment, get your facts straight mate LOL

Allan, you *******!!.........Good job buddy

And have any of you tried to adjust your headlamps yet. because if you haven't just keep quiet because

1) they are hard to do while the lights are on the car and
2) It's fricken cold here which makes it even harder.

I didn't get mine adjusted until like 2 months after I installed my eyes. And its only cause I found a warm place to do it.

Yup.. I just couldnt resist on putting them on... It's way to cold to adjust them now gonna wait until it gets alittle warm.. plus it's in hibernation right now...
