Removing wax with microfiber towels?

Is this safe to do or no? If not, what should be used?

yes this is the preferred method if you don't have access to a PC. Just make sure to not use terry towels, only microfiber. Refer to the detailing forum for more help.

IMO a high quality 100% cotton towel will beat microfiber any day.

Yes, it is. That's what most serious detailers use. Some MFs are better than others for this. Let me know if you'd like some links to the better products. BTW, which wax is it?

Say what? While cotton towels can have more initial bite, they mark the paint with one exception - DT Towels. They're a cotton microfiber that's exactly the same towel sold by Zaino as well as other boutiques, except DT sells them for a lot less. They've very good and my first choice for removing hard sealants.

As mentioned, you may want to post this on the detailing forum. Good luck.

yes, but you shouldn't use fabric softener.

Check out www.griotsgarage.com

This is great stuff...my favorite is the drying towel.

Sure. As mentioned above, no fabric softener, only a liquid detergent, and air dry.
