Ok, after a nice little fiasco on TCL and people *****ing about me trying to enlist free help, I created this little contest:

Is there anyone on here who would like to help me create a logo for my site? I'm not looking for much...something simple and clean, but at the same time creative and definitive. I'd want to use it on the site, as a watermark on photos, possibly make t-shirts, stickers, etc., etc. They would preferably need to be in Vector format.

Along with the $250 offered in the above contest, I'd give the selected winner a free T-shirt, sticker and a FUN ride along at a track day (if we can arrange it).

Above are two somewhat recent examples...I paid 125 for each of those...you tell them what you want and they edit their submissions till you get something you really like...

1st one looks sweet

 

The first one looks good, but if you want it for stickers and t-shirts you will be limited to how it will look. The first design for example has shadows and you can't tranfer that to a shirt or decal.

How long will the contest last? I may me interested if I can submit something next week. I'm the web master and head graphics guy where I work, and I'm also passionate about my Evo X. Do the gates or 311 have a meaning by any chance? That would help. Pm me and I'll work on something.

 

I like the above options... the typeface in the first one needs to change... the second and third are nice but are very particular to the evo scene. The last one is very creative and I really like it, but I have similar thoughts about the typeface for that one as I do with the first.

Disclaimer: I am just getting into graphic design myself and am in no way an expert.

 

It's open until I find a one that I really like. I look forward to seeing what you come up with, sounds like you're plenty qualified! Gates is my last name, and 311 is just a number I've had forever (Moto, Karts, Cars, etc.)

I agree on the fonts, but if I end up going with any of them, that can be changed later.
