Mini Project - Volk Center Caps

I had a hard time finding the right center cap to complete my wheels. So I decided to go with these.

I didn't like the silver though and I have been trying to add some more black to the car so I painted the silver area.

These will be going on middle of this week and I will post the updated pics then.

This is the car as it is now.

Looks so much better in black. Props for coming up with the idea to do that. Did you paint them yourself?

Thank you. Yeah I just masked them, sanded them and used some semi-gloss lacquer and a coat of clear. Only did 1 to test and make sure the paint adhered correctly. The other 3 are prepped and will be painted today and I dont have a jack that fits under my car right now but it is on order and will be here tuesday or wednesday for the install.

You took the idea right out of my head, but after I put them on I liked how they complemented the lug nuts and nickel back plating on my rotor hat. So, I decided to just leave it.

Painting the ring black will definitely have it stand out from the rest!

That looks really good too, better than I thought it would. Your lugs are chrome though and I have black K40s. Nice to have some variety at least right .

Those are gonna look hot! I think they'd look freaking amazing on black TEs also.

I was gonna get those until my friend danielskshin told me they were gay ... all part of his master plan to get them for himself! hahahahaha! j/k

nah I ended up getting the LE caps ...

yes, but these caps need wd40 on the back and something to pound them out from the back, it's not too fun
