How did the hood fit at the gaps?

 

It didn't .

There is a decent sized gap on the right side of the hood (looking at the car). The problem is that the hood latch bar is too far over to the right as well. So if you try to align the hood a bit more to the right, you'll eliminate the gap but the hood won't close. Surprisingly it's not bad enough to drive my OCD too crazy (probably because I knew going into it that I was buying Seibon CF and not Varis or Voltex.) Overall the hood is a bit lower on the right side than the left as well. I'll try to mess with it a bit more in the future.

Question about your hood - what do you do with the old one? Sell it? Let it chill in your garage in case you resell the car?
