Cover the plastic trim with blue painters tape first and you wont have to scuff it. Then spray your adhesive onto the tape instead. 3M Super 77 adhesive spray will grip to the tape just fine. And if you ever decide to go back to stock your trim will be just fine.

If your doing just the fake cf trim on the dash and doors you'd probably be good with just 1 yard. Its 55' x 36'. I'm picking some up this thursday while my car is at hb speed getting tuned.

on one of the bmw boards showed that you can not scuff the surface and the glue is removable. so if i do plan on doing it i will go that route and not scuff the surface incase i don't like it

That would work too. A little goo gone should clean up any left over adhesive.

thank you ! are you DIY installing ? if so let us know if the 1 yard was enough and how it turned out i saw a bunch of pics of this and how to's on the bmw forum but i'd like to see it in an evo
