Whats the benefit for upgrading the factory wastegate actuator if I already got a tune which hold boost close to redline? Doesn't the ECU control the boost level anyways?

All Evos here have the same stock boost as I do, we probably get lower boost from factory than the NA spec Evo.

Your boost curve will be smoother.

I know everyone try to save the cost but come on Evo is your signature car, how much it's going to cost you with one extra boost gauge from factory point of view!
I agree....to a certain extent. The problem is they will probably put a cheap boost controller in that is not that accurate anyway. Or it would only go up to 20psi, and when we turn the boost up over stock, it would be worthless.

I don't want to go off topic too much, but whenever you do mods that directly affect the boost (i.e. MBC, wastegate actuator) you should have a boost controller. Otherwise it could get pretty dangerous...

^I have datalog my boost before on the dyno and knew how much boosts I was running. Right now I`m still waiting on the updater from Cobb to make boost function work properly.

I agree with others that they should've put a boost gauge in the car.
