With my BOV i haven't had and problems. I hear horror stories. LOL But I bought mine used and it sound great. It's the one meant for the "Evo X" not the universal one. My friend have an Evo x GRS his had the problem. But maybe since mines and automatic. It's no issue

 

I got the exhaust for a $1000.00 with shipping. At my friends shop in town. PM me if your interested. He might can get a few extras from greddy. This exhaust is quite in low speeds. But had a dee roar when you floor it. I love it. I think the ti-c is louder. (single pipe)
