for the shift boot, did you just use the plastic clip (underneath the knob) from the oem shift boot?

there is no plastic clip. there is a rubber cylinder thing that you put through the openeing at the top and then use a zip tie to secure it to the rubber thing. then you turn the boot inside out. once you have it apart you will see what i mean. Its really straight forward.

oh no, i'm just making sure. i have the t1r leather shift boot so i already went through all that. just making sure you did the same.

for instance, i've seen some people use an aluminum clip.
