How much does a 1:10 scale car usually cost all together? Are they nitro or battery powered? Thinking about getting one if I can find someone to ship to India, I need something to do here!

You can get a used setup here in the States for <$100. But expect so spend $150 or so for an entry level battery setup.

I'm waiting for a 1:24 scale plastic kit. I haven't seen or heard of any Kit manufactures producing one yet. I think they all spent their money building R35 GT-R kits.

I assume the Tamiya body is 180mm since its on an electric car. Hope they make a 200mm so I can get one for my Yokomo GT4.

Hehe sorry its been a few years since my brain has dealt with anything rc.
Now for a semi thread jack:

Heres the GT4 I would love to put an Evo X body on. She is a 1st gen GT4 I bought new and of course added a bunch of blah blah yak yak. With the Nova turbo head .12 and a AMG Le-Mans body she clocked 71 mph according a local cops radar gun (he seemed ready to arrest us for drinking beer in a walfart parking lot at 3am until he saw the nitro car...after which he was more than happy to radar the car for about 20 minutes while we worked out bugs), but the car was geared for top speed that night. I would think the top speed with normal pinion/spur I would run was about 45.

The plan has been to sell it along with M8 transmitter for evo funds, but may have to hang onto it if a 200mm body is coming out!
