Did you have to bake your headlights then pull them apart?

Sure did. 220F for about 15 minutes and then you can pull them apart.

black outs are definitely cool. is there a way to dim those LEDs i think it would look better if they weren't so bright

Yeah...he can put a varistor (variable resistor) and dim it as much as he wants. Just like any light bulb. The only issues with dimmers is when you are using ccfl, some of them don't like the dimming.

it doesnt look like audi lights at all acctually, i did the same thing about a year ago on my regular lancer.
