I would get nice thick vinyl strip and run the length on the lower front lip to cover it up for now then decide. Never know it might look good.

i got a scratch like this wayyyyy back last year. i was making a U-turn, and thanks to the Evo X's poor turning radius, i scuffed the bottom. i'm just going to get a shop to take care of it soon. sucks...

If you have money getting a quality shop to blend it in will be the best. If you don't you can do what I did with my 98 Eclipse that had a bit of rash about 2/3 that big. I bought a big bottle of touch-up paint and put coatings over the area over and over until it was a fair bit thicker than the original paint. Once it had all sufficiently dried, I took Meguires #80 speed glaze (basically an abrasive polish) polish to the area with a random orbital polisher repeatedly until it blended with the surrounding paint. Followed up with a couple of coats of wax and it was barely noticeable especially because nobody stares too long at the lower portions of the car. You just have to make sure you don't polish too much of the surrounding factory paint because it doesn't take much to take that off.

I would put a band-aid on it until you can afford a lip. It will make ppl giggle.
