As said, still a few weeks out from final production. Were still researching into a durable plastic which can survive harsh temperatures, vibrations ect.
I'll post pics, details and options at that point. The good thing is seems like many people are interested which in the end makes it cheaper for everyone.
High volume run = cheaper parts=money savings to the buyer
Low volume run = one off prototype, small quantity = very expensive, more money for buyers.
I'm oblivious going to try to price these as economically friendly as possible but money talks so will see in a few weeks time how things look.
These can indeed be used in any halogen lights for any model 08-09
Thank you.

Definitely interested...
Just to clarify, this will enable us to go purchase our own HID kit (bulb and ballast) correct? And if so, do we get the kit used for TL or for an EVO? Not sure if they are the same bulb.....

final kit will be offered in various stages depending on what the buyer needs.
Will start with basic kit with said parts from above, then from there add extras like stage 2 projectors, stage 3, projectors, ballasts and bulbs. ect.. so on and so on.
I feel this way is best since I dont think its fair to make people by the same parts they can get from me local at possibly a better price.
Once everything is done, I'll list the details of the different kits, and available options at that point.

you will be buying a hid kit for the tl.. which is d2s bulb type.. although you may want to hold on because the the halogen housings actually have the spot pre tootled into the housing to fit the evo x projector ballast. Still looking into the hid bulbs and ballasts because I know for the people who will be sending me their headlights and want me to do the install, I want them to get them back exactly plug and play.
The bulbs should be the same as the Evo X. The X using D2S bi xenons as well. The only issue I see here is that people will need to leave their lights on at all times because of the flickering problem. From what I understand there's a relay that will need to be purchased which is the same relay used for fogs, as well as turning the hid feature on in the ecu using the MUTIII computer at the dealer.
As of now, the only solutions are wiring changes or leaving lights on.
The relay/MUTIII solution fell through, as none of us that tried it have been able to get it working. It's not for lack of knowledge or desire, it simply doesn't work.
However, if you were to change over the DRL wires from the projector slot to the DRL slot, you'd be fine. It wouldn't even be hard, I just haven't looked into it yet.

looks like a sick product. I already have the factory HIDs but I'm willing to give the DIY kit a go simply to get the TL projectors installed...and maybe with a 55w bulb ballast combo. The TL projectors are just sick.
