xi and imev0 - its been through a brushless care wash a few times, ive washed it a few times. the other dude said baby shampoo, the guy at the vehicle wrap shop said it doesnt matter. its honestly not hard to keep clean. i can hose it off and towel it off... thats pretty much all it needs.

imev0 - honestly, no one seems interested. and buying a roll pretty much is enough for one car with like 30ft left over. so even with that i think youd need a large group to have it be of any benefit.

granted if you had 3 people and bought 2 rolls, you could bring cost down a litte... but that would work with 8/9s, since you could probably get away with like 100ft for them. the x needs more like 120... if you were picky you could do it for 75-80ft for a 8/9 and 105 ft for an x... but i dont think a shop be comfortable with using the pieces cut out from parts for other parts... it would require a lot of prep.

I like this a lot because it protects the paint too...if you ever want to take it off...I wonder about scratch protection; the possibilities are endless

MOREPSiTEHBETT4 - i think it protects the paint mostly from sun/salt/things that would stick to the paint. if you scratched it, got hit by a rock that might chip it, or ran through a sand storm, the possibility is still there. its only about as thick as a piece of paper...

Kinda off topic:

How does it handle compared to stock being muellerized?

DirtyCookieX - fantastic. another guy i know that had muellerized jics on his 9 said that the stage 1+ on his x feels better than that. i dont have that comparison since my 8 only had a rear sway on it... but it feels way better than my 8 did.
