Well, I only did about a 7 mile test drive on them last night, but I definitely like them so far. Very very sticky. I did get on the freeway for a few miles, and I will say that they're a bit noisy. However my car is loud anyway, and it is an evo after all, so that's a non-issue to me.
Nitto sent me a set before their release and I really enjoyed these tires on the street. They are very sticky and responsive due to the firm sidewall. They are fairly loud but I was in the same boat, you can't really hear the tire noise once an external wastegate opens

You caught me at a bored enough moment to actually go measure it. The gap is 1 3/8" in the front and 1" in the rear.
