Cleaning the Engine

I was wondering how do you guys keep your engine clean? I just use a wet towel but its hard to reach all the spots with it. I know we can just get a water hose and spray the engine so what other methods are there?

Let me know thanks!

wash it with soap and water unless it really built up, then use a degreeser. then the best would be to have an air compressor to blow off all water and stuff in hard to reach spots. then shine all the black with something like black magic or w.e

thats what i do for car shows.

I like a mild solution of Simple Green and water to rinse the road grime off. Then blow dry with compressed air.

generally not a good idea to spray it down with a hose. Cant go wrong with a little simple green as stated above.
