Mitsubishi's Touchup paint pens...
Avoid, my experiences tells me they are pretty bad.
I have two colors, the Mystic Blue for my Lancer and the apex silver for the RVR.
The Mystic blue is from 2005, so I kind of gave up on it while the Apex silver is from 2011.. so still using it.
The tip, if you press on it long enough (to get the paint flowing) it will actually crush onto itself. So after a few uses, the brush becomes very difficult to use and would eventually turn into a not so even paint brush.
The biggest problem I have is the drying time.
Because of the age of the Mystic blue, I went to CanadianTire and picked up a Duplicolor 2in1 scratch fix pen. The difference are as below.
Original, requires 24 hours to dry (by dry it means it is no longer sticky to the touch).
Duplicolor, requires 30 min to dry, comes with a ball point applicator and a brush. I use the brush.
My attempts have been mixing these paints with the Langka process, putting a blob on a chip, let it dry, and remove the excess blob with the Langka Blob eliminator.
I have tried it with the manufacturer's and it works, but it takes too long. Especially in most chips and scratches you will need multiple layers of paint before it is even. The worst part is the clear coat. Since the two, paint and clearcoat, are essentially the same base, if you apply a layer clear coat before the paint is fully dried, you may face a chance of simply taking the paint out. So after a few tries i gave up and got the Duplicolor version instead.
It took a few attempts, but I finally got the surface to be perfectly even this morning. it took three application of the blue blob paint, and three wipes with the blob eliminator. I am letting the paint dry slightly more before i apply the clear coat from the 2in1 pen. After which I will simply wax the spot and it shouldn't be noticable.
My previous attempts with the process made it nearly impossible to detect, but there was still a small hole with color in it. Now that hole is gone too...
So my take on the manufacturer's paint is, stay away from them if you can.
A side note, I am in contact with Duplicolor to see if they have the Apex Silver, so far the CanadianTire store I went to doesn't have it. it is not even on their list. So i am wonder if Duplicolor even carries it.

I've used these on my 2012 Octane Blue Ralliart and my 2013 Cosmic Blue Evo X
Both sides of the pen suck. You'll seriously make the rock chips and scratches worst if you try.
What I've done that works best with these is get a paint pallet or something with a smooth surface and push the brush side down onto it to spill some of the paint onto it, and then get a fine brush from anywhere (home depot, arts and crafts store) and just use the brush.
These aren't completely useless cause you can still use the paint. Just use something else to apply it onto the surface.
