Found the kit direct from Ings. They have the front bumper right now but the rear bumper and side skirts are coming around the end of september. I think I am going with that or C-West. Most likely the Ings. I really like the rear bumper.

I just ordered the Ings+1 kit today but won't be recieving it until the end of September or early October. I will post pics as soon as I get the kit and when I get it on the car. I'm definitely excited. Hopefully this birthday fender bender turns out to be a nice little birthday present. I'll also post pics of the hood, should be getting that soon.

Just thought I would update.

Finally got the body kit in a little while ago and had a chance yesterday to get it fitted. I'm surprised how well the body kit fit. Pretty much perfect! Body kit doesn't even look like it needs any body work just sand and prep for paint. Hopefully I will get it all painted this week and post pics as soon as it is done.

Also, the hood fit great and looks awesome! I figured I would wait and post pics of everything once it was all on.

fender gap isnt really the worst problem its the color matching on that front bumper, the painted parts are much darker than the fenders/body. but that could be the crappy image quality. when the hd images are shown it may be better.

I definitely need to get coilovers, the car is sitting on S-Techs right now. The fender gap really doesn't look that bad in person so I think that maybe it looks worse than it is in the pics. But I am definitely planning on getting coilovers when I can. No moola right now

Hopefully HD images coming soon. Haven't had time to clean it up and do a photo shoot. Also, the weather has been sh*t here in Colorado the last few days

I think that it looks worse in the pictures. It is pretty normal for the bumpers or other plastic/fiberglass parts to be slighty darker or lighter than metal since the two materials take to paint differently. The front bumper is slightly darker but not as bad as the images make it look.

"Why do plastic bumper covers change color? Every once in a while we get a phone call from body shop client that is trying to deliver a car and their customer will not take it because the bumper looks different than the car. The most amazing thing is that the bumper and the front end of the car was painted at the same time, with the same gun, same air pressure, same temperature and the same paint.

How do you explain the bumper color change to the customer? Plastic bumpers will always change color especially in metallic colors. The plastic has a static charge and the metallic paint will settle different than on the sheet metal parts, causing pigment floatation that will shift the color darker or lighter. The other reason is surface temperature, if the sheet metal is colder, the bumper will look lighter, if the sheet metal is hotter than the bumper, the color on the bumper will look darker. The third reason is flex additive. If the clearcoat is applied on the bumper with a flex additive, it will shift the color slightly.

How do you prove your point after explaining this to the customer? Your customer will probably think your trying to fool them with this explanation, Luckily, the majority of our body shop clients in our area are dealerships. So they walk the client to the show room floor and point out that just about every car on the lot with a metallic color has a shade different on the bumper covers, front and rear, plastic door handles and plastic mirrors, all have different shades. Most clients are more at ease when they realize that they bought the car this way but had never noticed. "

Anyway, I think that the kit and hood turned out great! Like I said the fitment was pretty much perfect. Really changed the whole look of the car.

Thanks man!! The pictures posted are pretty bad though... lol Paint looks pretty off. Hopefully I can get some quality pics tonight. I was a little iffy about the kit at first because the only decent pictures I could find were of the WW Ings 10. The front bumper looks way better in person IMO.

Next year I am going to do some blending with the hood and also do some things with the rear bumper. Maybe even winter time... hopefully.
