Paint Scratch

Well somehow I have a paint scratch on my Drivers door. I was going to touch it up until I realized how bad it looked when I touched up my previous car. Now I don't know whether to try to touch it up again(although with a different brush) or have a body shop deal with it. Anyone have any suggestions on this?

You shouldn't have used the brush. Most brushes are too big, I usually use a tooth pick or something very fine and touch up in layers. Also you will need to sand the touch up, then polish and wax.

yep, fill it with VERY small amounts of paint until it builds up just above the rest of the paint.. then get a pencil.. cut out pieces of 2000 grit paper and glue them onto the eraser and VERY VERY gently sand the filled area until it looks and feels smooth with the rest of the paint.. then it can be polished to blend together and actually wait for several weeks before waxing.
