thanks man, appreciate it. If your friend needs more work or just another way to make money, i'm sure he could sell more than a few of these. I'm not aware of any other company that makes them, and i'm pretty sure me and you are not the only 2 people who aren't happy with the stock door inserts

I think the finishing touch would be having all the interior plastics painted Matte Black to match the dash. I like the dash; it's a good color and has a decent finish, but the other interior plastics being four shades of black really looks like ****. The interior plastics and the garnish pieces on the dash doors for the GSR have slayed me from day one. I figured if the guy making the pillar pods can color match to the A-pillar then this should be possible.

I've wondered myself if the crappy shiny plastic would hold a matte paint or if it would rub off easily. It has slayed me too. The trim is a whole other problem. Piano black maybe?

That is why all the high end performance cars have cloth in them I'm sure. Also probably why they put leather in the MR or what they call leather. That's why leather cost more than double some cloth seats, but I'm sure you are right. Cloth is better than leather.

Also, What the hell does iight mean. Is that English??

Edit Prior statement: He had his leather guy in the shop call me about the door cards. He was uncomfortable making a pattern off my car because he felt that they might not all fit perfectly. It did not have to do with cash. He was just worried about dissatisfied customers.

So... what did you do with the airbags in the front seats? Remove them?

I will agree you can not beat the fitment from the factory. Most of the fitment issue is my fat *** all ready breaking in the seats. On the otherside though the leather quality in the MR is a joke compared to this stuff. The MR looks like cheap plastic, and suede portion will look terrible in less than a year. I was going to get the leather from the factory and dealer even recomemded going to these guys cause quality would be far better.
