I was wondering if someone made a color matched "flat" wing to cover up those holes, I know there's a carbon fiber one out there but that would make take away from the wingless look with the black/red contrast on my car.

I don't want to use plugs that just looks unprofessional in my opinion.

I just don't like the wingless look very much. It looks good on a FEW cars.

If i go wingless I'm defintitely getting the Duck bill trunk and painting it. That is the best looking trunk and the best way to go wingless IMO.

Fill the holes and repaint or get a Lancer DE trunk pre-painted OB or get a Seibon/Do Luck carbon fiber trunk and paint it.

If you have SSS, you'll need to make a hole in the Lancer DE trunk for the button.

 

does the Duck bill trunk come in carbon fiber? if so were can i find it? and how much! that little lip does look very sexy

 

I like the the way evos look wingless, but it will look much better if you drop the car and add some

I went wingless on my X a few weeks ago and love it. I went to a vinyl shop and had them cut six; 1/2 inch circles and painted them with touch up paint. I should have done two coats on them but I can always redo it. Car looks good man!!

 

Originally that's ALL you could get it in. I don't know where they're currently at with the fiberglass version, but I know it's not too much cheaper than the CF one anyways.

Have you seen the OEM lip that's a factory option for Lancer DE's that don't have rear spoilers? It's very pricey for what it is ($250 painted), but I really like the looks of it on a wingless X.
