Hey guys. Got a new camera. A Nikon D40. So today my friend and I washed our cars and then went out for a shoot. Throughout the day we took about 220 pictures. For doing my first legit photo shoot im surprise at how well it went.









































Any comments appreciated

 

You need to buy a beginner's photography book. I can't give a thumbs up on any picture.

 

Except this one. It's alright. It would have looked better with the headlights off.

 

I appreciate the constructive criticism, but you dont have to be such a jackass about it.

 

Agree and a few of them look pretty good.

 

photography is quite tough. it was hard for me to learn and use my dslr properly. the pictures werent bad at all and there were some really good ones in there. keep it up and nice X.

 

a tripod will be your best friend when taking slr pics...take raw pictures and photoshop is your other best friend when you get home.

 

^ agree shoot raw format then adj. settings in PS...makes huge difference

You go to state college? I'm there visiting friends once and awhile. Pics are decent.

 

i think the pics are nice but now its time to start modding the cars lol

 

Photography is an art. Art is full of critics. When I got started my photos sucked and someone straight up told me. Instead of crying about it I decided to learn, and I'm still learning.

 

If I were a jackass I'd have listed everything wrong and said other things.

You really need to buy a book to learn the basics. Photography is half experience half knowledge.
