Best place for tinting in Chicago area
Hey guys I'm looking for a reliable place in the chicago or west suburbs to do my window tinting....any good places?
Also, what's a good brand, tint% to all around with?

I highly recommend Umbra, on Wise Rd in Schaumburg.

All of their tint is ceramic (for UV) and the % depends on your taste. 20% all around is dark, 5% all around is limo (black). 35% is pretty light and 50% is a very light "smoke" type of tint where you can still see in and out pretty easily.
Illinois law regarding window tinting is in the process of being changed, so you might want to check on that. As the new bill reads thus far, 35% all around is legal, 5% in the back and none on the front driver/passenger is legal, etc. Not too sure on all the details but I believe that's the gist of it.
Umbra also does clear bras. Everything is top notch there... but make sure you know about moleskin or generic felt being installed before window tinting. Some cars come with the felt from factory, the Evo X is not one of those cars and without felt (moleskin), your tint will eventually have streaks of scratches.
