do not purchase a knob that uses set screws. you will regret it later i promise.
the titanium knobs are generally hollow and have similar thermal properties as aluminum, so, it will only be cold for the first touch or so.
leather works well too, but just make sure its a screw on unit whatever you decide to buy.
nylon is also good.
I currently run a weighted Greddy which i like, but its getting cold and will most likely switch over to my quaife nylon out of the race car.
whats our thread pitch BTW?
Ummm... that knobs look like a ****. I guess if you are pleasing your ride, that is where you start. It brings a new meaning to "My ride purrrs when I drive it."
Being 25, I would like to think I am a little more mature and what not, but....there is a thread all about knobs. I cant help but laugh a little after each post. The only thing that would make this better is if someone mentioned how they polished their knob to keep it clean. That being said, I have an MR and still have the stock knob...
I think I may order the AMS Delrin knob:

The stock knob is small and short and I've been known to miss grabbing it while downshifting on the track. I figure a longer knob will make a difference.
