It's only a bit weird if you are trying to shift with your hand on top of the knob. If you hold it vertically it's fine.

I was hoping to get the "type-r" looking Blox knob, but they were on back order.... So I ended up with the round one. I miss the shape/feel of my ITR knob but this one works for now. Very heavy and solid. Shifting feels far less notchy. Best $30 I've ever spent and one of my favorite mods (I'm all about the feel of my car). I plan to buy the other knob when avail. The 490 gets a thumbup from me. Especially for someone that like the "ball" type.

NEVER!

I had just finished the installation so there were tools and parts of used car bits all over the place and the ashtray was not back in its place.

i have a blue one, if you are interested. i just bought it, NIB. i was told i was getting a discount 'cause it wasn't 100% perfect... but i haven't noticed any flaws/scratches on it. it's been on the car for a couple weeks. i've driven the vehicle once. as long as the knob i want is in stock, i'll sell ya mine. i won't need it.

$35? lemme know.
