Talking -= DIY A's EvoX Blackout Taillight =-

Parts Required
- Masking Tape
- 2 set of diamond cutting wheel 3/8 and 1/2
- Dupli-Color Engine Enamel low gloss black, Dupli-color sandeable primer, and Dupli-Color clear coat from Kragen.

- Tools Required
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Dremel
- Sealant
- 4 Clamps

- Recommended Number of People

- 1 Person

- Difficulty
- 2/5

- Time to complete
It's hard to say so I break it in to small tag.
- Cutting 4 of tail light about 1 hour.
- Clean up mess in the "Pink" cover about 0.5 hour.
- Taping about 2 hours .
- Painting inside the housings about 2 hours.
- Putting the housings and the cover back, using sealant and clamp, let's it dry for 8 hours (over night).
- Paint the edge of the light about 2 hours.
-Clean up and put it back to the car about 1 hours.

thats pretty sick.. idk if i would do it to my car, i might change up the parts that u blacked on the lens and stuff but thats defintly different- in a good way so. +1

The lens cover is not too pink for your liking?

I'm gonna hold off on this project until it gets warm again... but I found my Dremel. I liked the way xPRimNT's light coat of NiteShades turned out so I'll go that route to do away with some of the pink look.

Your paint scheme makes me want to play darts on your tails though

Fantastic job. That looks great. I didn't think I would want to mess with my lights but your picture is making me think otherwise.

Yeah, I bought 2 can of nightshades and was ready to use it. However, when i put everything together, I feel it look better in this way. Everyone have their own taste
BTW I used nightshade in my 350z tail and scion tc head and tail before.
