So it's not a paint or anything? And how would you go about to use this dye?

Its a flexible coating, decently scratch resistant too (you can spray it on your visor hinges and it wont wear away). Spray it on like you would spray paint

Thanks dude!

One final question, what color did you end up going with for the dye?

It almost seems like you should do something w/ the stock Recaros now too... the color differences &/or textures don't seem to flow well for me. Maybe wrap them w/ black leather? You did do an excellent job

15013 Landau Black, didn't see it on that chart but that's the one I always use for black pieces. I get mine from my upholstery supply shop locally

Thanks I would do the inserts in diamonds but I'm selling the Recaros and buying some Brides.... I will do the back seat inserts in Bride gradation once I get them

edit: I really need to take some pics with no flash. That flash is really killing the true color of the material (its really as dark as the safety handles). I think 50% of the people that hate the steering wheel wouldn't mind it as much in person (you really cant even tell its wrapped besides the silver diamond missing)

Pretty much with everyone else...Steering wheel is way to much but the rest looks decent.
