yeah there isn't a real big difference, as for his set up he has the Recirc kit so he will not have those problems that other people where having with the VTA set up HKS BOV....nice pick up LVS, could you pm me were you got the recirc kit from.

 

There have been reports of even when recir problems still happened. Including myself, I kept throwing the limp code even when recir.

 

Initial impressions with the SSQV:

- no cel/limp mode
- boost spools up 300 to 400 rpm quick than stock bov
- improved throttle response
- sound is quiet like stock bov when recirculated
- can achieve same boost level as stock BOV with almost 5% less WGDC on my setup

Initial observations confirms it holds boost much better than the leaky stock BOV. Putting this on a previously-tuned car without re-tuning will for sure overboost and explains why some people are having cel/limp mode.

 

LVS always makes parts look better with his photo skills. Wonder if I'd benefit from this running 28lbs.....hmmm

 

You are running the same peak boost as me, stock bov simply cannot hold at this level. The SSQV does not leak so you will see the difference for sure.
