Blacktop Aero

satisfied with it. wish it was stronger - cracks really easily. it is pretty much a Varis replica, so if you like it and want to spend the JDM price, go ahead. otherwise this is a decent alternative

Looks nice kevin! Did you have to do any modifying to get it to fit with the rexpeed ducts?

no real major modifications, but they don't fit perfectly. the lip and the ducts fight over the same space on the bumper

if I had a belt-sander, it can easily be sanded down to fit (I don't have one zzz). both pieces by themselves fit great - before anyone goes bashing either product - but since they both hug the bumper so tight (ie good fitment), they conflict

but they look good overall and that's what matters. someday I might borrow a sander to fix, but "meh"

Did yours crack to the point of being unusable/unfixable?

no actually. the Blacktop Aero fits so damn snugly on the bumper that it still holds together. I just used some black spray paint to hide the white fibers that you can see from the crack.

it's starting to bother me more, so I've been debating trying a JDP RA lip (it's look has grown on me), but nobody locally wants my old one.

only problem really is when CF lips crack, you can get it fixed - but bondo kinda clashes against the CF finish

looks good man. I've been looking to get one of these...but from the pictures on ebay they seem smaller than rexpeed, jdp, pvr lips of the same style. I might just get one cuz my blacktop aero got f'd up after this last winter. What were the fitment issues?

hey mate, wasnt too bad, had to cut out a small part from under the lip as it was hitting something (cant remember what). and there is a small gap on both the left and right bends (you can kind of poke your finger in there a little bit) but to the untrained eye looks good. ive had a few people think it was stock.
