those rims are hideous...gold would look a lot better...can't look any worse. black stockers would look better

after really looking at the rims I am not liking the rivet look they have and not sure how they would look painted gold. They look a little too busy IMO

 

Its quite clear the tribe have spoken and to put it politely, do not approve. Not that this should matter to you at all, however the basic sentiment is that the Evo X is a race pedigree car and should have key parts that reflect this.

It seems one of your criteria is cost, and if this is a factor, just take your time and save up until you can get the right rim with right size, style and offset. No need to rush and "cheapen" the look of what is a fantastic car.

 

the rims i that colour do not work, but as you are sugesting, a polished lip with a gold spoke would look fine, and since you are running a +35, get 15 mm hubcentric spacers (ichiba or project kics) and make the offset +20 it would sit more flush with the fender and in the gold would look a lot better, the rims look good in gold with poilshed, and at the end of the day its your car and do what makes you happy

 

thanks guys.. I know you guys just try to help out to makethe car look better and that is why sometime the comments are a little harsh.. but I made up my mind.. I am going to save up and get some AME TM02 19x9.5 +20(front) and +15(rear) to have the stagger look.. I always like that look.. any how I am going to first finish myperformance mods and suspension mods.. also thinking of running a 265/35/R19 I know the 275 fits but I want it to look a little strech out.. is that a good fit for that look?

 

Those AME wheels are gonna look great on your Evo.

the gab on the X is too big.. plus going with 19's is just to be a little different..

 

dont car for yours so much now but think gold would be nice!

 

less red and they might not look that bad imo but to each his own

 

I like the style of the ones you already have, but I would lose the red lip and go with all-black.

Also, have you thought about Bronze ??
