i agree with you 100%, but dont you rock JDP lips? JDP makes knockoffs all day....just saying.

 

I feel for Do-Luck and BP. Without them, this product wouldn't have existed. It's already cheap as it is for such a high quality, rare item.

Like I said earlier, nothing against Sleestak or Rexspeed, I myself almost bought a piece from Rexspeed. However as far as a replica do-luck trunk, for some reason.... I would rather not have it if I couldn't have the real Do-Luck trunk.

to BPAuto for their risk and I hope they regain their money back and profit from their risk. I am sure making these trunks for other cars/markets, they can.

I meant my specific pieces. The oem style hood vents and duct, fender vents and side extensions. I looked at similar pieces before purchasing rexpeed, but the rexpeed products didn't seem to be copies of anything else I found. I certainly would not have bought them if I thought they were direct copies of another company's mold.

 

From the picture it looks like there is a big seem right on the Lip. Will the final product have this seem?

 

i would buy knock off.why?? because im cheap bastard and rather spend saved $$ elsewhere.

y did u get a cf do luck w/o keyhole if u dont have one? were u sent the wrong one or something?

 

They copied the rallyart lip, and foglight bezels. they copied the Varis lip, fender vents, canards, side skirt extensions, etc. HKS kansi, side spats.

 

hmm, if you ordered from driveline i bet they confused your order and my friends order. he got one without a keyhole.

I don't have all those parts. I was talking about my specific parts. OEM style hood vents and scoop, fender vents and side skirt extensions. I can see where the side skirt extensions might be viewed as a copy, but having compared the two, the Varis design was a bit thicker and has a different curvature. Nevertheless, I do also understand your point. If I feel so strongly about the Do-luck trunk I probably shouldn't be using products from a company that is known for copying other companies.
