evil x new toys thread

i'll be updating with pics as it goes along..

a look at the new parts ordered for the car. alot of them are show parts..there are some performance parts put on there as well.

i will have before and after pics taken.

Recent parts ordered:

1. Corbeau racing harness driver/passenger
2. Nisei Rally Red UICP
3. JNZ tuning spark plug cover
4. AMS widemouth DP
5. black spline lugs
6. LED running, fog, reverse, turn signal lights, and license plate lights

within the next two weeks:

powdercoating rims bronze(quality powdercoating)
powdercoating valve cover Starlight Black (quality powdercoating)

Magazines like Superstreet only say stupid things like that because they are sponsored by all those aftermarket wheel companies, etc. An obedient consumer buys NEW things... anyway, I think the stock GSR wheels look wicked and yours even more so in bronze, good job.

yeah theyre starting to chip. my buddies and i just painted them. we wanted to see how the bronze would look before i jumped in and got em powdercoated. it was more of a boredom thing..but obviously we didnt do a great job because theyre chipping. the wheels and the valve cover will be in my hands wednesday and i'll put em on the car thursday night. i'll make sure to keep u guys updated with pics

Cant wait to see them. Ive got the stocks on my gsr as well was wondering how they would hold up if I had them powdercoated.

Nice, I think that color bronze looks good if it were solid all the way around the wheel. Definitely different looking but I like it.

Nice so far. If you powdercoat your rims bronze, go for a darker color!

i actually decided last minute to do a gloss black on the rims..if i do bronze it'll be with a new set of wheels already bronzed. i dont trust powdercoating colors to be one i'll like
