go 10.5..you will not regret it...i was in the same boat as you before i got my wheels...i'm glad I went 10.5 +15 instead of 9.5 +15
if anything, I feel that the 10.5 +15 aren't aggressive enough...haha I know, I'm crazy...but seriously...the rears stick out just by a little..the fronts is nearly flush...this is my current setup
18x10.5 +15 275/35/R18
rear fenders rolled
swift springs
-2 front and -1 rear

theres a pic of mine a few posts back...its the only one i have right now
and yes I plan to track mine as well...I haven't gone to the track with the current setup....but as long as I have stiff coilovers...and I don't slam the **** out of it....it shouldn't be a problem rubbing on the track

some nice pics here. the evo X with the 245 tires....hellaflush is one thing, but for performance you need to get some real man sized tires on that thing. 245s are way to small for a 10.5 in wheel. im running 265 z1s (run a little bigger than normal) on a 9.5 wide rpf1 on the fit/sit great. im not a huge fan of super stretched tires, but hey to each there own i guess.
keep the pics coming! buuuuump
