Front Emblem Delete

Has anyone tried removing the front emblem completely? I figure if you dremel the emblem off and sand it with 2000 grits, and maybe touch it up with some plasti dip if it looks off. I think it will look fine. Honestly, I think it would look clean, but has anybody tried this yet? Pictures maybe?

You'll have to fill in the gap that the emblem will leave.. There will be a little hole left, a body shop will be able to match the paint perfectly.. They would probably charge you $100ish total to do it if you found the right place.

I do my own painting so I'm not worried about it.

Ricky I'll have mine done soon. I already have the emblem cut off, just need to fill the hole and paint. Going to use Plasti-Dip for paint...

Front emblem delete is awesome. I'm also going to have my body shop do it, so there is no gap after.

Deng, haven't seen the front emblem delete on the X yet, till now.
To be honest, that isn't bad looking at all. I like it, looks pretty clean.

Does the bumper have to come off in order to remove the center piece? It's not a big deal to remove the front bumper, but it would suck to spend 12-20mins taking it off, only to find that you didn't need to.
