Red Kryptonite's evolution of his Evolution
wow, its been awhile since i last updated...
not much modding been done this season. i had to spend most my money fixing broken ****, replacing parts i wasn't happy with, and finally getting my kit painted.
well, here are the changes for 2011.
-right before winter, i busted my voltex lip on a steep driveway. bummer! but this is only the beginning of my bad luck.
-a couple of weeks later my tein ssp blew. i was deciding for the longest time if i should have them rebuilt or buy new ones. i really didn't want the uneven wear if i rebuilt just the one coil.
-oh and to add to my bad luck, my car got broken into. fml!
-the tein ssp were replaced with a set of t1r b52. got them for a good deal, but i wasn't impressed with the way they handled. oh well, you get what you pay for i guess. it was a cheap fix, they'll do for now.
-summer tires were standard on the evo so they had to go too. i couldn't decide if i wanted snow or all-season tires, but luckily i came across a set of cheap all-season bridgestones. i figured all seasons and awd was good enough for our winters.
-winter mode... looks so stock haha.
-finally spring is here. the t1r coils had to go, i rather spend a little more and get something i will be happy with for a long time. i went with tein coilovers again, this time tein flex. im super happy with these coils, worth every penny.
-its time to slowly put my mods back on. i've had seibon sss cf side skirts sitting around forever and been dying to put them on, so i did. also fixed up my front lip and had everything colormatched.
thats all for now... i'll post some more pics once i play with the ride height some more and put my obnoxious gt wing back on haha.
