Painted my wheels.
I kinda already seen this with repainted brembos as well, so I dont use chemicals no, but tire shine and apply that on cloth first, then tire so no over spray.

Thanks everyone. Wheel paint is underrated. When I wash the wheels at the carwash, I hold the wand about an inch from the wheel, and so far it has held up to it.
What paint you go with? Brand "Duplicolor"? And did you end up clear coating?
Btw the graphite color looks really well on your car, gj.

Did you use anything to prep as far as chemicals? What type of scotch brite pads did you use?
I am getting ready to do mine and assumed sanding was necessary (400 grit) or airplane stripper, then clean, then prime(self etching), then paint, then clear.
You didnt do any of that and seems yours are holding up fine?

As for scotch brite, I went the poor mans way, I went to the dollar store and bought the generic pack for a buck.
Thanks!!

Just an update. Paint still looks the same, no flaking or chips. I would say to anyone wanting to paint you wheels "do it". This stuff has endured at least 100 trips through the high pressure washes without failing.

I don't know what I would do if i lived up north.
