ARC Titan Shift Knob.. No Burnt Look!

Hello guys,

Thought I'd share a my new find, for those of u bored of burnt look. Sorry if its being posted before..

Bought a ARC titan shift knob a few days ago, didn't quite like burnt look as what I would expect. Somehow decided to polish it a bit with Meguair Scratch X, guess what the burnt colour slowly came off after a long polish...

after several polishes and this is the result.. shiny titanium look!

I was quite lucky the company I work with had relations to printing and laser engraving businesses, so I got the shift pattern laser engraved on top.. sorry my camera is too crap to show close up of the engraving, but it was top job. Thanks so much for the professional laser engraver!

Enjoy~

to be honest...i'm sure there are other chrome shift knobs just like that, it was the burn that made it stand out. but whatever floats your boat.

Thanks guys, I was kinda surprised the burn can be polished off.. so I guess the burn is not that long lasting hey?? will slowly slowly fade during time..

i'm kinda with you on this one.

why pay an absurd amount of $$$ for an ARC knob and then polish the burnt and engrave it.

fortune auto and T1R racing makes the same knob for cheaper sort of... at $100ish.

The burnt can be polished off but will not rub off from day to day use unless your hand is rough like sandpaper.

might as well get an ARC intercooler and use paint thinner to take the ARC logo off

to each their own, I suppose
