You made the mistake of taking what everyone said way too seriously, there is a sign on the front door warning you to be cautious of the natives as they aren't friendly. It's a tough crowd and not for everyone, it's better to just lurk unless you have thick skin. And definitely don't fight back, that only makes them worse.

Nice car btw, it sucks you're forced to sell it. Maybe I missed it, but what are you replacing it with?

 

OMG I saw that thread on NASIOC as well. I have heard of NASIOC being bad but man some of the haters on there are absolutely out of control and would be banned here if they posted that kind of nonsense. A few people posted actually giving the OP positive feedback on the pics and the car and they were immediately attacked.

As for what RED ALERT is saying... I disagree... if you look at the thread, it was strictly hate. Its not about having thick skin or "being aware of the natives"... I understand all these forums are public and people are entitled to their opinions, but the people that gave positives never attacked these "natives" to begin with... maybe its just the 12 year old mentality that goes on there.
I mean listen to yourself... "Natives" ..... its a public forum.. they don't own it.

Especially when they kept saying.... "your a nooob... this is OT(Off Topic)" Would it been different if it was a Porsche or Lambo... probably not and it just shows clear ignorance on their behalf.

I been on IWSTI for as long as I been here and that forum is very much like this and at least people respect other vehicles and admit the EVO is a very capable machine.

I'm telling you, I've been around long enough to know. It's nothing personal and the more you fight the more they **** around with you. You really are reading far too much into it, ANYBODY that is new to OT and posts gets torn down and it doesn't matter what car it is.

Don't even worry about it spoolme, their idea of fun is way different than every other forum out there. The best thing you can do is not let them get to you, because all they are after is a reaction...
