did you have those powder coated at Elite Coatings?
I had a set of Advan RS repowdercoated there and saw te37s in the same color there.

All else being equal, i.e. tire size and offset, adding 1/2" to your width is not likely to change wether you rub or not. You'd be adding a 1/4" to the inside and a 1/4" to the outside, but only at the lip, which isn't going to rub anything. It will slightly increase the footprint, but not enough to add more that a mm or two at the edge of the sidewall. So if you're not rubbing at 9.5" then you should be okay at 10".

Now, as far as will that setup rub-it's gonna be tire dependent imo. 275s, probably rub, wide 265s like Star Specs, probably rub too. A narrow 265 should be okay..

??

Rays Foundary isnt located in the Tsunami affected areas.. You can purchase new Volks no problem. just slightly delayed shipping due to logistical issues with everyone else trying to get goods out of Japan.

Will the CE28N TA 18x9.5 34* offset fit on an X MR with stock suspension running 265/35/18 Z1 Star Specs without using spacers?

I haven't seen any 34* CE28Ns yet...

Thanks!

You'll need spacers

I have +22mm offset and you can maybe fit a credit card between the caliper and wheel haha

Thanks for the tip. Ack! I really don't want to run spacers as I'm planning to track the car and don't want to worry about spacer issues...

Thanks for the link. It's actually this guy's old set that I'm thinking of buying. He doesn't say that he ran spacers initially but later he put on 10mm for a more flush look. I'm wondering if they fit initially w/o spacers and he just added the 10mm later for aesthetics only?

The difference is that 18x9.5 +34 ce28n spokes are more flat and not as concave. Flat face = more caliper cleareance.

Pretend you're looking at a cross section of a rim. A flat face rim would look like a " T " where a concave face looks more like a " Y ". You can see how the wheel profile will effect brake caliper cleareance.

19x9.5 +22 ce28n spokes arent as concave as the 18x9.5 +22 which is why you guys running the 19's will have more cleareance than the picture posted above.
