Voltex Releases Additional Mounting Styles for the Evo 10!

To help make things a little more personalized (we know how Voltex loves to make
1,000 options for 1 item), a brand new mounting style has been developed for the
Type 1S “Street Spec” GT wing, and the Type 5 Dual-Plane GT wing. With this new
style the user has a more strengthened base/bracket design by mounting the wing
closer towards the center, rather than at each end. This will create a stronger and
more rigid structure at the center of the wing, which might help if you drive at
speeds of 180+ .

For those that missed our last ‘press release’ of the Type-1S GT Wing, the 1S-series
is Voltex’s newest wing, designed to be simpler for more on-road and highway use.
The abbreviated “S”, meaning “Street”, includes their integrated side plate-to-wing
design.

As of right now, there are two different options available for the Type 1S GT wing:
Center Mount:
  • 1480mm
  • Carbon or FRP
  • Customizable Bracket Stands/Height
Factory Mount:
  • 1480mm
  • Carbon or FRP
  • Customizable Bracket Stands/Height
… There has been talks of a V-Mount design, but nothing has been produced as of yet.

Those mounts look awesome. I like the center mount for the Type 5.

What's up with Voltex? Are they ever going to make a bumper for the X? Side skirts to match the lip?

you can order tyoe 5 in 1600mm and 1700mm also. 1700mm is a stocked sizing in the US. 1500mm and 1600mm is special order so those takes 3-5 months.

All are a stocking size within the US, as we keep many here within our warehouse. Being that this center mount shows as a main design for a 1500mm, we are not entirely sure if they'll make one (in a center mount design) for a 1600mm and a 1700mm. We're solely going off the production of the Type 1S for reference.

No US retail rate has been factored yet as this item is still in the pre-production phase. I'll have something for you guys by the turn of the new year.
